Service Description

Learn the basics of setting up your machine, thread sizes, needle sizes, thread feeding and how this affects your results and create an applique panel to be added to a tote bag, cushion cover or framed artwork. You will need to bring your own sewing machine, with a feed dog drop facility or plate to cover the feed dogs, and bring an embroidery foot or a quilting slide foot, otherwise all materials will be provided. Tutor: Catherine Bailey Catherine is an experienced textile artist, who has exhibited and sold her work for the last 7 years. Freehand machine embroidery will enhance your sewing creativity.
