About the event
Mandy exhibits and teaches nationally, and sells nationally and internationally. Mandy is also a yeoman member of The Worshipful Company of Basketmakers. This one-day course will teach you how to select and soak your willow, learn a variety of weaves, and how to add a decorative border for the top. Mandy uses willow that she has grown, and sometimes includes interesting hedgerow plants. With over 35 years of experience, Mandy was drawn to willow weaving due to the simplicity of tools and materials needed. She is a true master of her craft and a wonderful tutor. all materials and tools are provided for this workshop.
