Usage Limitations and Editorial Rights

​How can I use your content?

  • Visitors and customers of flossieandtwts.com are NOT granted any form of Reproduction Rights or License as a result of viewing or purchasing artwork.

  • CONTENT is hereby defined as all physical and digital artwork sold or visible on flossieandtwts.com or etsy.com/uk/shop/FlossieandTwts and associated social media platforms.

How can I reference your content in a media article?

  • The use of CONTENT in connection with news reporting, commentary, publishing, or any other "editorial" context, such as, but not limited to, social media posts and video reviews, shall be accompanied by an adjacent credit in the following format: "Catherine Bailey, Textile Artist, flossieandtwts.com"

What must I ensure I do not do?

  • Without express permission from flossieandtwts.com owner Catherine Bailey, CONTENT must not:

  1. be used on any website or social media associated with a business.

  2. be used in any multi-media production distributed via broadcast, cable network, OTT video service (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon), or in theaters, or in related promotional materials.

  3. be printed in physical form as part of product packaging and labeling, letterhead and business cards, point of sale advertising, CD and DVD cover art, or in the advertising and copy of tangible media, including magazines, newspapers, and books.

  4. be incorporated into merchandise intended for sale or promotional distribution, including, without limitation, textiles, artwork, magnets, wall-art, calendars, toys, stationery, greeting cards, and any other physical reproduction for resale or distribution.

Returns / Cancellations

Returns & exchanges

  • We accept returns and exchanges. Contact must be made within 14 days of delivery and items must be returned within 30 days of delivery in pristine condition.

  • If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. Personalised items cannot be refunded or exchange.

  • Buyers are responsible for return postage costs.

Cancellations

  • Cancellations are only accepted on standard stock items (not commissions) but please contact us if you have any problems with your order.

  • Cancellation of a commission will result in loss of deposit.

​Booking a Workshop or Event

  • To book a space, please complete our online booking form. You will receive confirmation via email of your booking. Payments in full are required at time of booking. ​Additional material costs will be identified on the event booking page.

  • You may pay in part or for the whole of your course using vouchers.

Changes or cancellations by us to the advertised Workshops and Events

  • Whilst we make huge efforts to run our courses as advertised, we also reserve the right to change the time, date, tutor or content of any course where necessary to facilitate or improve delivery of the course. We will notify all booked students of substantial changes. 

  • We also reserve the right to cancel or postpone the course with at least a 7-day notice. Running the courses relies on filling the spaces and if we do not receive enough bookings to cover the course costs we will need to cancel. You will be offered a choice book onto another course of your choice, or a full refund. 

Cancellations by you for a booked Workshop or Event

  • Once booked, refunds will only be available for cancellations made up to 40 days before the course start date.

  • A half refund will be provisioned up to 30 days before the course date,

  • If a cancellation request is made with less than 30 days notice, we can discuss options, such as transferring to a friend or transferring to another date/course, but this will be on a case by case basis and is not guaranteed.

  • We recommend you take out travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances and cancellation costs.

 

COVID-19

  • In the incidence that you are legally required to self isolate due to COVID, we will endeavor to fill your space if we have a waiting list. However, we regret to say that we are not obliged to do so if this is not possible.

  • If we are forced to cancel the course due to COVID regulations or lockdown measures, we will give you a full refund of your course fees, or offer credit for your space on a course at a later date.

 

Insurance

  • We do not accept ​responsibility for accommodation costs in the event of us cancelling your booking.

  • We strongly recommend if you are travelling from afar and need to book accommodation that you also take out insurance cover.
